It also doesn't display the registered or copyright signs, and tells you what type of RAM you have. Either a Photoshop or an illegal copy of OS X on overclocked hardware methinks.

I know that OSX identifies a non-overclocked P4 2.6C as a P4 4GHz, FWIW. On non-Apple hardware that is.
 
mortals: what is that bground? as in location i like it:P
and also mortals what is your hardware? is it that in your sig? if it is what does it xbench like?

to all: why does os x look so great? it just fits with any wallpaper, but windows... they dont match as good

The OS on the whole has a unified theme, wallpapers tend to fit not sure why, just goes with the cool operating system I suppose.
 
ubuntu with a nice SuSE wallpaper (just installed and loving it so far, my cheap alternative while I save up for a Macbook Pro :D)

New Desktop, have it kinda an Bluey/iPody themed...
Hide the dock on the right - rarely use it anyway. Quicksilver/Spotlight F T W :D
 
I think there is, but I wouldn't want to. It's just nicer to use Quicksilver to launch things and have nothing distracting going on behind windows. :)
