Anyone daft enough to buy one?
Would someone be daft to buy a 1070? Or a 1080? As this is right in between for both performance and price then I'm pretty sure it's not a daft purchase. Of course, you may be the enlightened one while nvidia know nothing.
I'm planning on getting one in a few weeks for my 2nd rig unless I see a cracking deal on a 1070 before then.

1070Ti basically the same price as a 1080 in some cases, or a fraction lower in price than a 1080? I'd say it's a bit odd to buy one instead of a 1080

So.... 1 person bought one? The rest realised what a waste of time this GPU is considering the 1080 costs just around 10% more.

When you're already spending £420 ish on just a graphics card you're a high end gamer in my book as your average Joe spends £250-300 so when you're spending so much what's an extra £50 or so to get the true gp104 flagship 1080. Me personally the Ti is just a message to AMD we can beat anything you put out on the table

So I've returned my faulty 1070 for a refund. Cost me 420.

Quite simply should I be replacing it with a (now cheaper) 1070, or buying a ti or pushing for a 1080?

Depends what you're doing with it.

Generally, long walks in the park, the occasional meal...

Seriously though, PubG, HOTS, Overwatch. Currently on 1080p but would like to eventually upgrade to a 1440 monitor etc. DOubt I will overclock it or water cool etc.

Open to suggestions (more questions too)
