Nothing I have ever seen has stated it has a faster processor, it has been moved over to 45nm manufacturing process though.

Still got it, PS3 was 'free' (the whole orange contract cancellation thing, so I ended up with a nice phone, a PS3, £100 cash back and a cheapish contract).
They sent the 120gb slim instead of the 80gb standard though.
sounds good to me, that's how i got my elite anyway.
on a note more closely related to the topic i still find myself wanting one of these for no real reason, i like very few PS3 games, multi-plats i'd buy on the 360 for the better online play (i'm not trolling, but i've experienced both and although the freeness of the PSN is nice xbox live is just simply more polished), if i wanted a blu ray reader i'd buy a drive for my PC and yet....i still want one
either way i don't have the money so i'm not in temptations way, heaven forbid if i end up with £250 spare in my bank account

I'm currently loving my 120gig PS3 slim, just a shame though that they have released a 250gig version so soon after the 120gig (shame on you Sony)
And even more nuts is the price - just £30-odd more for double disk space and a game!

Perhaps I'm the only one, but I do like my car doors to close smoothly, I prefer a smooth thud rather than a clunky mechanical sound when they close
