Thats a ruddy great big cooler on that card, have to wonder how hard they have clocked it to warrant that cooler, will be interesting to see actual specs and then benchmarks and how well it OC's and ontop of that how those new AMD drivers interact with it

I saw something online earlier today on social media where people are saying that the 4GB 480s are unlockable to 8GB. Any truth to this? Success rates?

Nice looking cooler on the devil. Should be darn good for clocking stably, as long as the contact points on the chip are decent. Is that 3 DP connectors i see? That is good as the sapphire only had two, with 2 hdmi.

On the devil card though seems quite a large gap at the end with about 1/2 the last fan beyond the PCB.
I see the heatsinks are big however so curious how the ram and gpu overclock on this to the Nitro.

Installed 16.7.1

Slight boost in firestrike score:
(16.6.2) = 9613 (gfx=12547, phys=7039, comb=4360)
(16.7.1) = 9868 (gfx=12906, phys=7127, comb=4509)

I am undervolting core to 990mV and memory to 970mV and set core max to 1240 and left memory at 2000

Nice.

New driver for me just causes the card to run at 900-1000mhz. Why oh why did i buy reference. Who the hell decided cooling 150-170 watts with a tiny aluminum heatsink was a good idea?

Would a Kraken G10 fit?

im waiting on the EKWB full cover, my EKWB Thermosphere would fit, but id need to remove the VRAM/VRM cooler/card support plate, and i dont have anything to cool them with at the moment.

My Asus 7950 Direct CU II cooler looks like it would fit too but it would be too heavy on the card i think.

I dont know why AMD didnt just use all the available space under the shroud to fit the heatsink, rather than just a very small square.

if my RX 480 doesnt sell, will be sticking a Alphacool heatsink and block under the shroud. but will just stick one of their Universal mounts on in the mean time i think. interested to see if that would fit and what temps it gets

What settings are you using in Wattman? That is not expected behaviour.

i rebooted and it seems fine now, could have just been because it was hot last night.:o

Are stock voltages different depending on different GPU's? Mine defaults to 1150, and wont go much lower than 1100
