a couple from a recent weekend in Dawlish Warren (and surrounding areas)
Nice colours, but I think it could have been much better with less sky and grass. Take a look at www.flickr.com and type in the words Beach hut dawlish into the search box

Not sure what you mean but i have turned the contrast down on purpose and added some noise to give it a rusty look.

Today around 4 in the afternoon
Nice Work! I really need to get myself down to the Quayside, but i just can't afford the metro fair! dam being 16!!
i want to go up in the dark as well, but it doesn't seem to get dark anymore
so i'll wait for winter

I've been down there a few times in the night-time but i've never had my camera with me and normally im with the other half so its no good.
I think summer nights are perfect for night photography as you get a lovely sky and can see the clouds (faintly) which you don't get in the winter. Also the sky has a nice blue tint which sometimes can emphasise the objects in focus.
I didn't have my tripod with my today so couldn't mess about with AEV for HDR. Could have had some lovely HDR pictures

Shame really, but you know how it goes, if you had the tripod, it wouldn't have been any good for HDRing!

Don't forget to post results! It's been a while since i've been out cameraing! i need to get myself out
I agree with what you're saying, its a good feeling when you see other camera-ists out and about, i remember once i went down to St Marys for a walk (no camera) early in the morning with my mum and dad, and the place was crawling with camera-ists, it was unbelieveable!
