On another note. A photo I showed on here a page back or so got featured on the Telegraph newspapers site in the "sun" themed competition. I didn't win but having my photo on there is good enough for me.Tbh I didn't even think it was that good.

M42 mount lens using an adapter that has an AF confirm chip.
The chip's programmed to 50mm and I used Av mode where it's always set to f/2 on the camera (aperture's selectable on the lens only).
It's annoying because I have to remember what settings I was using rather than easily going to the exif and looking.

I've been on a Biology Field trip since Monday, and only got back today, So i've been busy since i got back at 3 post processing the photos, nothing amazingly brillant, but there was a few pictures i was quite happy with, such as ...

I do like the first one I was always told that for sporting events where a ball is involved one should ideally keep servo focus on the ball for the most dramatic results, I think yours works both ways here but would be interesting to see what it would have looked like with the ball in the AF zone!

I really need to get myself a DSLR, thinking of getting the Nikon D40, if anyone recommends it as it looks like the way to go for someone new to this.
