Brillant capture, a little bit of everything, really liking this shot.[/QUOTE]
It's a cracker for sure - I just love the element of scale that you get from this, it brings to life the technical approach that is required to capture such an image. I love your other shots of this little one when there's no idea of scale also - keeps you guessing as to whether it's got a 6ft leg span
Loving all these water splash pics. Is it possible to do this with just the on board flash? Would love to have a go but i don't have a decent flash at the moment.
Right this shot is getting more attention than i was expecting, It was merely a quick test in photoshop of a technique i was learning, I combined it with one of my jumping spider shots to create what u see above.
Not posted anything for ages... but have been out and about in Cornwall, and just happened to end up on a beach at sunset, with a camera.
No real postprocessing, just tone and balance adjustments.
This one has had a graduated tint added.
Shot with an EOS 10D and a 28-80mm cannon EF lens (Not sure of the aperture range, it's the old kit lens from a canon EOS 5) that are currently on loan to me to see if a DSLR reignites my photography bug properly.
Am new to posting in this section, just bought myself a Sony A330 using kit supplied lense at moment just trying to get the hang of things. Heres two random shots I've taken.
^ Some flowers I bought my OH.
^ One of my OHs dads cars, I know it could do with the background stuff editing about but not quite got to grips with editing yet!
