Wedge thats impressive skills there!! How did you manage it?? :D

My 55-200 VR Lens is stuck at 165mm and doesn't always focus perfectly because it fell off my worktop. I thought it still performed alright though. I did have a few focusing issues but seems ok.

Great little lens, so sharp but so cheap (I haveone) which I also dropped, sent mine to nikon to fix, cost me about £60.00, my piccys more luck than judgment, just set to continous fire with my nifty fifty @ f/2.8 ;)

Amazing, any chance of getting that in a 1440x900 resolution for my wallpaper please? :)

No probs, download here. :)

@steveo - Awesome colours, I like those a lot. I never find bright coloured bugs like that!

@Wedge - Most entertaining set, although the wife is now on about getting a dog when our daughter is older... cheers, thanks a lot...! :D

Think I might try sending it back to them then. Another quote I had was £55 parts £75 Labour so I didn't bother. Nothing like a bit of luck :D

Just found my invoice from Nikon, it was £75.00 repaired.

AFS55-200/4-5.6G DX VR (733933)
Repair, adjust and lubricate zoom helicoid
Check, test and clean equipment.

frieght cost = 5.06
Estimate Total = 64.69
Tax = 9.70
Total = 74.39

Really cool people to deal with, very helpful, great comms when lens was sent to them, highly recommended.
