First time i have submitted a pic here, so be gentle :). I managed to get the normally manic 18 month old Ellie, to briefly appear as if butter wouldn't melt!

It didn't last long....

Thanks guys :)

I do love old film photography but I love the ease of DSLR even more, so it's my goal to try and combine them in a tasteful way (not like that hipster photo app on the iphone). I love colour adjusting and grading just as much as taking the photos themselves.

The last photo was taken at Goodward, hence the people. Thinking about it, I could have attempted to edit them out, but I can't remember where the original PSD is for me to give it a try!

Yeh, i know what you mean. I adore Photoshop :) I have recently been using the HDR program Photomatixs and it is really great.

I took an image the other day and i had to get into the river to take the actual shot. was FREEZING! I got out and couldnt feel my feet and the part of my leg which under the water! but here is the image

On my flickr there is also another two version of the same image. I am stuck on which one looks best...

That's a sweet shot. What sort of length exposure was that? I need to get a few ND filters really, as the last time I tried to do a long exposure of water I tried to use a mates pair of Raybans to knock it down a couple of stops haha. Didn't come out too great.

Cheers, I think it was 20 or 25 seconds. I was shooting at F22 and had a CPL Filter and ND8 filter to stop the light down a bit. Well my birthday is in about a months time and im hoping to get the Lee Big stopper filter :D

Before I came back to Hull, I took this out of my bedroom window at my parent's. IF only it was this clear the day before for the partial eclipse :(
