how long did you have to wait to get the boat aligned with the sun in the first one steve! Cracking colours in the third one as well

Be gentle please!
Just 'trying' to get into photography slowly, but more so playing around in Lightroom and Photomatix. Never really used them before.
This is probably awful in colours, saturation and what have you but looks good to me and the ol' untrained eye ;)

Any tips?

Good but I don't think it needs a border...

Not sure how this looks on a decent monitor (I'll take a look tomorrow) but it's looking good on the phone!
Taken on my iPhone in gwythian tonight, looking towards StIves. :)
Slight crop to base of pic to remove some distracting sand shapes and adjusted shading with "Camera+" app directly from the phone

Do excuse the pun, but watch your reflections with stuff like that.

I like the composition but I can't stop my eye from being drawn to the pair of hands holding a camera.

Nash Point, Wales:
That's a stunning piece of work. I can't help but feel that the sun being in that position is a hard thing to draw your eye away from, but it's a cracker nonetheless.

Do you have any more from your trip?

Thanks :)

Yeh, the whole set is here: http://www.danfreemanphotography.com/2011/01/nash-point-wales/

I know what you mean about the composition, as soon as I reviewed it on the computer at home I realised. No idea why I didnt when I was there though!

Trouble is, I didnt want to pan left as I'd cut out the rocks where the waves where hitting, and if I panned right I would have cut out the nice clouds.
