Who would belive you could bet colours like that last weekend?

Location is black rock sands on the west coast of wales.

Yeah, was wandering around Bristol with a limited bag of lenses and happened upon the fashion thing - figured I could do boring press photography from a poor angle or experiment a little and run the risk of clichéd toy-town stuff.

zogger thanks for the feedback :)

i took some more tonight, still not as sharp as i want - maybe its not possible with my lens/camera - but i want crystal clear sharpness....

To get as sharp as possible try using mirror lock up if you're not already and get a remote (cable or IR) plus obviously a tripod. When I had the 18-55 kit lens I remember some of my sharpest shots were around F8 I think.

Do some research on the lens and see where it's generally sharpest. Also focal length can change sharpness, generally at each extreme lenses are less sharp so if you're going fully wide, bring it in a bit.

Sorry to quote but is there a guide to doing this? Would love to have a bash! :D

Set up your camera with a tripod and take a shot of the scene (office in this case) then move position and take a second shot. In photoshop open up both images and paste one into the other so they overlap. Then erase the parts of the photo where the person appears. You will have multiple images of the same person but the remainder of the scene will remain the same. :)

EDIT :

Or do as Wedge did and make a phonecall to all his identical brothers :D

Ha, that 1st one made me laugh :D

I love the capture on the second one, shows it's colours on the wings nicely :)

Thanks

The first one cracked me up too when I came across it in Lightroom and even more so when my flatmate came up behind me and did the sparta line from 300 :p
