fairly obvious what it is :D

That's no moon!

lol

Just out of interest, having never photographed the moon, what kind of shutter speed do you need, and what focal length did you zoom in to?

Very nice Mig, awesome picture name :D
Out of curiosity what lens and settings did you use? I see you used a 400D. I really want to get into Macro photofraphy!
Yeah I think macro is maybe my favourite type of photography. The Mr. Burns bee was indeed a 400D with a Sigma 17-70mm (surprisingly good lens for the price and the fact it's 3rd party).

I upgraded after that though and the ice cubes was taken with a 7D and Canon 60mm macro.

Well in that case :D

Mine is fine but people do have issues. How much of this is down to inexperience using a f1.4 lens I couldn't say but it is definitely a factor. If you buy new Sigma will sort any issues though. I think it's a great lens for the money, it's made my 50mm f1.4 pretty much redundant at the moment!

edit: I've been nicely surprised with the speed and tracking of the AF actually, it's performed pretty well. I get misses in low light on the 7D, but I had misses with the 24-70L on 1D3 in low light as well. By misses I mean slightly inaccurate focus, mainly using servo on a moving toddler :)

Seriously love the framing from the trees in 2 and the reflection in 4, makes me want to get out more with the camera lol.

Found this laying near the back of my desk today, couldn't use it in a camera, so used it as a subject instead :D

Hmm really tempted now! Only thing is that you can get these for almost £90 cheaper from reputable HK places online than from UK retailers but with Sigma's hit and miss reputation I'm not sure whether to take the risk.
