I think a lot of the site is being converted to housing development, there are boards up saying "new XYZ houses, coming soon!" but I hear they're keeping some key features like the water tower and so on.

constructive - too dark and busy for my taste, i would have got closer to the focus point and pushed the exposure a bit further (or just pp'd it)

Yeah I could have cropped it a bit to get rid of some of the ground, I quite like the darkness in this shot and I thought I would try it out. Didn't really have much time to take the shot either.

I'd go closer, angle from a higher view to fill the frame with colours rather than having the table edge and unrelated background.

I'll have a go at that, here's another go which I quite like. It's on my Wii until I can get some acrylic/glass for good reflections

1st one is much improved. I'd still try to go higher up and frame the lines more diagonally.

2nd one is also good, although correcting the edges so they are more parallel would be more effective.
