Thanks, yeh having a having a dog around the house is great, he doesn't mind having his photo taken either which is good.:)
I can see why you questioned if it's a him/her, as the only hat in the house was my GF's... :o

How is this done?

There was something very similair to this in a fairly recent issue of DSLR Photography magazine, I guess it'd be the same.

I can't remember what they said to do, but you take one shot with it plugged in and light on, and one turned off, then photoshop the two images together with the bottom of the normal light, and the bulb of the one working :)

on quick comment on this thread; does no one feel it's kinda "killed" the photography forum a bit? We now only have equipment threads bar the very rare actual photo thread and this one, perhaps photography should be split into 2 forums, equipment talk and photo threads, as this thread is getting unmanageably large! Very hard to try and find images etc

Just a thought :)

I see what you mean, but the majority of posters in this thread are (rightly)only submitting 1 or 2 random photos, which is fine. There are only a few who post an entire set in here and probably should start their own thread really.

I will agree that they are fewer photo threads in the forum. Maybe everyone's just busy? Not seen Phate/Raymond wedding threads in a good while. :(

The way I see it this is more of a random pics thread, or if you don't really want any in-depth C&C. If I took anything worthwhile I'd start a new thread for it.

No DSLR, just my Samsung P&S. All the same, I think it's still a pretty good photo. It was much more beautiful being there, though. ;)

Also, this hasn't been touched up in anyway, yet.
