How?, pray tell...

How?, pray tell...

Heavy crop, macro lens, reversed lens, extension tubes, macro mode on a compact/bridge or a normal lens with a macro function (such as the 70-300 APO DG Macro).

For example - this is a 100% crop just resized.

^^ Very nice. Here's one I took of a pot I saw. I haven't done anything to it, and since this was my first attempt at creating a decent photo, I'm really just interested in people comments on how I can improve.

I took this yesturday with my new 4560d with the standard 18 - 55mm lens.

I love the yellow, think it's really powerfull and pleaseing to the eye

C&C welcome as always.

Loving the water droplet pics, the green looks really good and vibrant. What camera and lens did you use?

Thanks. I used the Panasonic Lumix TZ5 and Raynox 150 macro lens. Bit of modding required though since the TZ5 is a digital camera and isn't meant to have lens addons.

Nice. What did you do, just selotape the lens on:p

Not far off lol. I actually used a 55mm filter adapter and just used black electrical tape around a thin bit of plastic to make it fit around the lens of the TZ5. It looks like a normal 55mm filter, so i shouldn't look too daft walking around with it on :p

Lol, it obviously works well. I'm waiting for some macro lenses to be delivered for my D40, so I'll hopefully get some good shots with them.
