I really like your city life shots Jonney. Making good use of that 70-200..... In fact your shots have been the last straw in my indecision about which lens to go for!

2, 4 and 5 is more like it :)

I'm trying to force myself to take more pictures of peoples faces on my street shots, rather than just people on their phones or their backs and stuff. I need to stop being a fanny!
Some of mine are pants but I like to keep them to remind me of what I don't like...

Voyeur set.

These are my first ever shots taken outside the house with my gf's new 1100D. Please be gentle as I've never used a DSLR before in my life! Constructive criticism very much welcomed though! :)

They're all a bit cliche and blah, but they're the best of the bunch :p

Do all lenses generally need a touch of sharpen when processed?, is it only the expensive L glasses that don't?
I tend to sharpen everything. Doesn't usually harm anything. The only time I won't is if I get random jaggies I can't get rid of.

On camera? Yes :p

I tend to not reduce any noise even if there is some grain. I like grain and if people don't like it then my bum is just below the wasteline :p

seem to be stuck in a rut at the moment, badly need to get out of the area for a day or two :(
although i am amazed these came out ok, both with my Sigma 70-300 at full ext. handheld, no shake :O damn lens still feels very unwieldy somewhat lol

Scanned in some old shots from 2008 (which were from the first roll of film I had ever shot), these were posted before but the scans are much better:

The midtones in HP5 are pretty awesome I must say.
