How long do you wedding folk spend editing a single picture?

very much depends on the type of pic. A lightroom self developed preset with a few minor adjustments (spot removal etc) then less than 3 mins per pic.

Headshot with full beauty retouch (manual - no plugins) in PS.... maybe 45 mins

Was actually my 24-105L but yeah what the hell is a Catadioptric/Diffractive lens? :p

Catadioprtic is a mirror lens- basically a mirror at the back, reflects lights back to the front of the lens onto a secondary mirror, which sits in the middle of the glass at the front (or held in place by stalks on a telescope), which then reflects it out the back of the lens. Due to the central obstruction you get doughnut-shaped bokeh. I've got a 500mm cat somewhere, I'll dig it out and take some shots.

Diffractive lenses use non-spherical concentric elements to diffract light, the advantage being a much shorter lens body compared to equivalent conventional lenses. Again, you get slightly strange bokeh with concentric circles. The Canon EF 70–300 mm f/4.5–5.6 DO IS USM is a diffractive lens.

Got some new lights and a beauty dish so had a little play around. Only using the dish here but looking forward to getting kickers etc involved too and getting better at the PP for it. Dead happy for a first real bash at it though!

Took a couple proper 135L bokeh headshots of my mate but he won't let me put them up...
So have some of me not really using it how I should be using it :)
