Just messing about with HDR and the pictures I took a week or so ago. I didn't even know this boat (shot in the dark) was red! :/

I like this pic, only a few hundred more to look at. :)

Quick light trails shot at the airport a couple of nights ago. Couldn't get closer to either end of the runway, so had a choice of the approach, or the actual landing to photograph.

I'd love to go back once I get my remote release and do a very long exposure, catching numerous landings and takeoffs

More on request. I don't have a tripod, so there were a lot of rejects :)

I've only ever used a simple point and shoot compact. This is my first time using a dslr and just love fiddling around with the controls.

Cheers and I can see you're going to be posting some damn fine pics as you get to know the camera mate and exploit all it has to offer :D

In Lightroom it's all to do with custom presets so some can take seconds, others minutes and the best ones can take a few days as I tend to come back to them throughout the day with different levels of fatigue to see how they look again :p

Agree with Robbie, I've got half a dozen presets so most photos don't take long at all, if it's something special I process it individually though! :)

edited quite a bit of course but i like this shot a lot tbh

will need to take off to london eye one night and take some nice pictures :)

Nice!^
I think the clouds have a bit too much yellow in them though, very easy to fix :p Unless that's the look you were going for? In which case, nice :D
