I quite like the framing, it was taken blind with the camera at my waist, I just walked past and took this!

Wow!

Not to sure about number 1 but 2 and 3 are fantastic!!

I take u used a tripod of the 2nd one. How long was the exposer??

Thanks!
No tripod used, the camera was resting on a bin! I think it was about 1/5th (A circ pol was used to lower the shutter speed as it was very sunny!)

As above. Are the highlights clipped along the railings in 3, as they look a bit funny on my monitor? You can tone them down a bit using camera RAW, but if they're blown, they're blown.

I find it a bit rude to take photographs of people without their knowledge, such as shooting from the hip or trying to hide the fact that you have a camera. If you feel uncomfortable in what you're doing, you should go and ask people if you can take their photograph (you'll be surprised), or just simply not hide the fact you're taking a photograph. There's no law against taking somebodies photograph in the street, you don't need their permission, just don't be secretive about it, it's a bit 'a man wearing a trench coat in the park' for my liking, haha.

Which completely defeats the purpose of a candid portrait, people act differently if they know they're being photographed.

Taken with an Olympus Trip 35, Fuji Superia X-TRA ISO400 film. No flash.

I'm very surprised by how sharp this shot is, I'm getting the hang of this fixed focus lens.
