Lovely depth of field Floyd. I particularly like the way the bokeh of the carpet seems to start right on the tips of it legs in a circular like patern.
Thanks :)
Would have liked to have got a more front on view, but didn't really have the room, so would have had to got closer. Don't like spiders that much :p He was a good 2" across including legs

Bored at work so am playing with the miniature effect in photoshop.

Picture I found that I had taken over the summer.
Shot this in raw+jpg. This is the edited raw using photoshop, Just made it richer, looks much better than the original jpeg that the camera saved. Will be playing with raw files more now.

Yeah it was a great section of the wall, walked along it for about 3-4 hours and only saw a hand full of tourists

Heres another

I took this on the off chance of it being interesting (awful day + kit lens) just doesn't work for me.

Petal structure at St. Pauls a few months back:

Couple of shots taken at a gig. Since moving back and forth between film and digital photography, I've made pretty good practice of not shooting for the sake of it, rather than hoping to get something usable out of hundreds of images, I've been biding my time and putting more thought into pressing the shutter. Only took 10 shots at the show and I really like 7 of them.

I really really like those shots. What lens did you use? Did you use an external flash?

Wow EnglishMack, I love your shots too. The second one just captures it. The flash work is also brilliant, well exposed and no hard shadows from the flash work. Impressive~
