Not bad mate. Looks far too yellow though. White balance out? The Quay side looks much better without the Tuxedo Princess.

the tuxedo was under the tyne bridge no ? , what do you mean by the white balance out ?(complete novice here btw)

edit: if you mean did i have it configured wrongly, its a 45 sec shutter shot

I always love abit of circuitry !!!

Don't think I've posted this before…

how did you do that ?

some good photos crossy where was this ?

I'm sure I posted the original here some place, but can't find it.

Inspired by seeing use of Factalius plug-in over on the TP forums, I tried it out myself on one of my light painting attempts.

sheer quality !!!! was it just mainly photoshop ?

Just a couple from last week taken at Steetly Magnesite in Hartlepool - I was without my DLSR that day so all photo's taken on a Nikon F75 using Ilford XP2 Super. Tesco seem to have split toned the photos when they were scanned but I think they look cool:

my first attempt at this kind of shot, 6133 second exposure.
going to try again tonight with a focal point and without the dust spot :p

may i ask what is it youve done here to get that effect?

Went out with my new 400d tonight, really unimpressed at how noisy things get at iso 400 and above but oh well, shots are okay:

did you use one of the motorway overhead display signs for this ? as im wanting to use a massive hill next to the motorway, woundering whether its worth it to use the motorway sign?

I just entered this into a competition to create some artwork inspired by the music of the band Maps. It's four photos combined, three of them skies.

'To the Sky'

Im by no means an expert at all and this is nothing compaired to you guys but here is my latest, Christmas light switch on, Photos for the local Council and Charity.

Christmas%20Lights.jpg

Go easy on me :p

Took this one today after we'd had a hard frost last night, intended to spend more time taking bird photos but ended up taking some macros instead. Got more to look through and process and a couple of bird shots so might have more to add at some point.

The punchbag looks quite noisy given the neon lights (assume) in that gym - what equipment and settings were you using?

That was done on my first indoor shooting since owning the camera a week before; had the settings on ISO400, 50mm f1.8, taken in .jpeg. (Canon 20D)

I wasn't shooting RAW then so had to make do with editing the jpeg.

Don't think there is much noise. Might have been poorer focusing with such a thin DoF.
