Was taken on a Cannon 350D with a 50mm 1.8 (Nifty Fifty) at F/22 with a shutter speed of around 30 seconds.
What I like most about this shot is I took it by balancing my camera on top of my scarf on a wall as I didn't have my tripod with me.![]()
im a total novice here, but how come the light didnt go hideously bright and overtake the photo on a 30sec shutter speed ?
I used F/22 so I could get as much in focus as possible, at that aperture size very little light is hitting the image sensor so you need a long exposure to get enough light in to get a properly exposed picture.
Don’t worry I am still very new to photography as well and you pick these things up as you learn more, I really suggest picking up a book called "understanding Exposure", will teach you loads.![]()
