Just back from seeing Nitro Circus Live at Birmingham - Indoors and dark with fast moving objects meant that of the 400 odd pics I took only about 1/2 are "acceptably" blurry :D

Taken with a Canon 600D and either a Canon 50mm F1.4 (trying for maximum light but the distance was 45m+) or Tamron 70-300mm F4-5.6.

I had a first go with the Brenizer Method today and the result was quite promising, used the 85mm @ 1.4, going to use it on a few portraits soon as a car is quite big, need to be closer to the subject that is taller, not wider :p I know what I'm working with now so will try it with a wedding shoot this month when I take the BG off for solos.

I'm not a photographer, but I adore photography.. I use my camera 99.9 % of the time for video and leave the photo's to my brother in law who is a ridiculously good photographer.

I was doing a test for a film Noir type style of lighting look for a music video I'm shooting, and decided to take some stills... my first attempt at portrait photography.. and now I have photo fever... I really want to take this up a notch and I'm buzzing with idea's.
