shaggyd, looks like a crisp lens, it's one that I was looking at a while back but wasn't sure about the optics on full frame!
 
Did one for the last watch, it's time again :)

I spent a couple hours getting some product shots, namely my watch... I spent more time cleaning up the image going over it pixel by pixel almost and when I was done I'd suddenly noticed the Longines logo was obscured partially by the hand... Fail!

Still, I'm happy with what a DIY portable and most importantly, relatively cheap home studio setup can deliver:

Mrk - is that reflection of the watch from the surface of the material you're using or something edited in later? Hard to tell if it's just a bit of white card or some kind of plastic from the shot you've shown :)

I didn't really mind that the minute hand was in the way buy I guess if it was a proper product shoot then I'm sure they'd want the logo showing hehe

It is a nice shot. However If you're going to watch photography you need to set the watch to 10 minutes past 10. It is the watch equivalent of the rule of thirds - it just has to be done.
