You can't take tripods up there, all though can take gpods up there...

That said, I found the building sway from wind caused issues however unfortunately...

I used a Gorillapod

WHilst on the subject, did you shoot through glass walls or is it open air?

As others had said you shoot through glass unfortunately, I'd brought a rubber lens hood with me and held it up against the glass which did quite a good job of blocking out any reflections, but then you are restricted with the angles you can get

I stayed up there for a couple of hours so managed to get day and night photos!

I do have a special spot in my heart for those Lancias Mostly from that arcade game that had those and the Celicas to race around! I loved that game.
