Hello,

Not been on here in a while but had a trip to blackpool zoo this weekend with my wife and took my camera (D3100).

Im still learning so much with with this camera every time I go out with it.

I am hazarding a guess, is that taken at Mumbles in Swansea?
 
Yeah that was a pretty special day with HMS Edinburgh passing through, heading up and out to its final resting place in Edinburgh.

I wasn't even aware of it happening. I was shooting around the area when another tog spotted me and asked if I was here for HMS Edinburgh and the bridge lift, I responded well I am now. :D

It was a shame about the weather, it was actually hammering it down with rain when I shot that. There's nothing like testing out the weather sealing ;).

Tower Bridge actually lifts quite often for a range of boats/ships which are too big to pass under. You can look here and you'll find a listing of times and dates:

She either pooped a ladder sudeenly or that's a strange place to have such a metal ladder, go wooden ladder!

That off white/grey BG can easily be made white using a curve adjustment layer + dodge and burn in PS so it looks like a nice and proper.
