He's Canadian, she is too but her family are all from Portugal, they flew over for the wedding. They flew me out because they liked my work :p

Also that is another bride in the BG who had the other Bridal Suite booked out, had to get a quick shot as both their dresses were very similar, Vicky had actually tried on the right dress but preferred the current one :D

I have family over there anyway but never visited until now. Now I have all these new friends so the need to visit again is even greater. If time and funds permit then I don't see why it can't be a yearly vacation!

Seems like you had quite a few photographic opportunities and some you missed. But Canada is one of those places I'll have to make sure I visit, along with Switz.

The people there are really nice, very welcoming, you could walk up to most people on the street and they will stay to chat, they're less defensive about their personal space. I loved it! Already had feedback from B&G's friends and family (stayed in their house) :)

I would say that applies to the US as well.

Had a chat with a lady whilst queuing for the loo one time, chatting to randoms on the queue in Customs, chatting to randoms on the shuttle bus, took his photo and even gave me his email address.

The English seems very cold in comparison.

heh :D I just knew the shot looked familiar and now I know why hehe :)

Think I had Google imaged the word 'green' before for cool wallpapers because that's how I found that shot again. I'm just glad my brain works well enough to remember that!

Did you watch any hockey in Canada? :P

Hah :) I'm from there originally and I've been watching it again for the last 3-4 years since I found somewhere to download it :D Best spectator sport ever imo

You were in Hamilton then? Did a quick Google of that hotel name. That's not too far from where I was from... But then again that's not too far in Canada whereas here it's like Brighton to Aberdeen probably lol

Yeah Canada is mahoosive. 5~ hours just to drive to Ottawa!

Hamilton used to be a rough part, it's undergoing major revamps though and there are some really nice areas there now. B&G's place is big and nice, makes our nice houses here look bland.

I was in Canada this summer to visit the parents and took quite a lot of shots even though I was mostly at my parent's place.

Was is still autumn when you were there or pretty recent? Saw one shot with a bit of snow but that doesn't necessarily mean much lol. My uncle out west in Alberta has already said they've had -30 a few times over night.

Quebec City is well worth a visit with or without a camera - http://www.flickr.com/photos/phal44/sets/72157635019446531/
