The "Post your portraits here of random strangers" thread (only for the brave!).

Snow patrol, do you go out with the intention of taking photos or does it just happen as you're doing your day to day things?

hi, i just go out looking for interesting people to photograph really. I really don't do it as much as i should though, cos i actually really enjoy it and enjoy getting the images on the computer and processing them. Need to get out there more! :)

What are you doing, saving them up to post them bit by bit or do you process them the day you shoot them? You seem to have a steady stream of awesomeness.

Really I was looking for some fallout from the riots last night. This kid saw me with my camera and shouted at me to take his picture. I obliged and he threw up the birds. I wonder if he's getting prepared for tonight.

It's not really 'Stereotype' material but it will do for this thread :)

Some excellent shots throughout. Also this is something I kept pushing myself to do. So far Ive only spent an hour doing it! This has inspired me to push it further.

haha, cheers - nice of you to say so. It depends really. Sometimes i get out there and get a load of good shots and put them up quickly. Then other times when i'm lazy and don't get out there as much as i should, i tend to trawl through my lightroom library looking for a good shot that i may have missed to process and put on flickr. That's what happened with the scarface pic on my flickr...i took it about a month ago but totally overlooked it. And it's ended up being one of my most 'popular' uploads.

Nice shot btw - but i'm thinking going out on the street in london at the moment could be a bit risky. I kind of want to get out there after i finish work tomorrow but i suspect it might not be such a good idea as gangs are probably still going to be roaming about...
