The "Post your portraits here of random strangers" thread (only for the brave!).

Thanks!

Hoping to do more shoot tomorrow or over next weekend.

And no, we spotted her miles away, but where she was heading down was a dump. Got luck when she turned into the right path to where we were shooting. Most natural of them all, despite her initial shyness.

got this one the other night before she had to go home bless her lol
she's called Kate, 25 working the bar at my brothers wedding reception, well she was before she downed 3 shots :O and had to go home haha!

anyways, much better than my first portrait i tried, it was shot with a D5000 and a 35mm 1.8

Look how heavy her eyelids and how red her eyes and cheeks are, looks to me she was ****** up way before she downed the 3 shot's, I suspect it was those 3 shot's that finally done her in.

As for the shot itself, it doesn't really do anything for me personally, but not because you have done anything wrong tbh, it's just to me she looks off her trolley, and the pin lighting at the bar is very harsh and I'm not keen on the WB of the scene (it's very challenging I know) but you could maybe look into something like an expodisc.

imo this is when you want to convert an image into B&W.

Take a spotting buddy, it really helps as trying to find someone of a specific 'look' is hard. I was a little too particular on the type of look I want the set to have.

I think you're misunderstanding me here....I don't care about the photo's!!!

Lol

I'm thinking of just going myself one day to get out and take some photo's, something I've not had a chance to do recently as one by one the family all have had an illness over the last few months...

Are you picking really tall people or are you just really short? ;)
I'm just getting a weird perspective on some of them.
