Pretty impressive for the PS3 I suppose, I wouldn't try it with my 360. Anything else electrical that I own would be fine though (probably). It's just unlucky that the 360 has issues, most of which could be very easily fixed.

Cool report. Makes me feel a little more at ease leaving my PS3 on all the time to fold

I finished Ninja Gaiden already so its not getting a lot of game time these days..

The problem is that anything which is considered to be interesting and is to do with the 360 or PS3 is flamebait on here these days. Shallwe all talk about puppies and cushions instead? :confused:

i've bought both consoles on launch and can as far as i can see both were in a similar state for software availability. was a while before there were any real hit games i wanted for the 360.

i've been lucky so far with my 360 but the rate of failure is appaling.

Hmmm, well so far mine's lasted since it first hit the stores. And I don't see why they should do the same with a 360. I'd like to think that 360 owners would be sensible enough to turn off their console if the temperature got that hot and go for a swim/sit in a cold bath.

I don't sit in the oven to play on my console, so why the hell should I care if it can deal with such heat?

Why should people have to turn off their console when they are enjoying the game they paid for because the console is getting to hot? That's ridiculous, it shouldn't get to hot and should be 'fit for purpose'.
