The release 360 games that I can remember are:

PGR3
Kameo
Condemned
COD2
Perfect Dark Zero
Oblivion (not quite release day though was a month after iirc)

I can't recall any others, I have all the above and with the exception of PDZ, which I have not played, I enjoyed them all especially COD2 and Condemned.

Same ones i remember, im sure there were perhaps a few more as well ie Madden 06??, unless im mistaken.....but fact of the simple matter is that it didnt take long for the 360 to get a big stonking range of games out...quite a few games were released within a month of the 360 being launched...the PS3??...hmmm dont think they have come close to the range of games available after the first month of the 360 was released.

Id buy the PS3 myself, but i thinking im better off going for a proper blu=ray player...its not like any of the games on the PS3 hold any interest for me. Problem is blu-ray players are still quite expensive so im going to wait a few months before picking one up to go with my Pioneer 50" plasma screen in my living room.

Condemned is just fantastic, I loved it, was a very scary game. 9/10

If you like Condemned then id seriously suggest getting your hands on a copy of the Darkness...awesome game which is quite similar to Condemned...perhaps not as scary but gave me a few frights...

Cool, I'll pick up a copy in a few weeks once I've completed Just Cause and Hitman.

But it *is* a shame there's not many decent games, really.

The thing about it is, last summer the Xbox 360 was in exactly the same position, things really didnt kick off properly until september time, then we had a glut of games.

The PS3 is in exactly the same situation, there is some great stuff coming out this winter, and then its off and running.

At the moment I have one game for my PS3 (Bigs, baseball game), after trading in my others for store credit, I enjoyed Ninja Gaiden more than anything this year on the 360 (although Bioshock IS going to change that).

I think the PS3 is fantastic, it will just keep getting better and better, i dont know why people feel the need to knock it, the only thing holding it back right now is a good selection of games, its better put together and quieter than the 360, anyone knocking it is obviously jealous that they dont own one, if your a serious about your gaming, long term, you are going to own all three consoles.

But the PS3 10 months on still doesn't have any decent games out yet. :p

Well it has some 'decent' games (RFOM, motorstorm, oblivion etc) but it doesnt have any must have games yet, 2008 things should start picking up imo.

Apart from Motorstorm, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Resistance, Virtua Fighter 5 ....

I wouldnt exactly say they are all must have games though, none of them would really stand out from the crowd on PC and 360

Motorstorm is a joke, I can't believe I even bought it, where is the content? Jeez.

Anyway Resistance was just crap, corridor shooter to the max, it was even worse than Halo 2s campaign, that's mighty impressive.

Ninja Gaiden? Oh well I always forget about that since I basically played it like 3 years ago.

Yeah, there all pretty much 'Average to Ok/good' games, none are groundbreaking or Must have.

They are all good games, on a par with what came out early with the 360. There were no AAA titles at 360 launch, we had to wait till last winter for those to appear, if after this winter the PS3 still has not had the games come out, then people would be fair to be critical of it, but not yet.

Jihad

GRAW and Oblivion were the first AAA titles imo, early 06, only a few months after launch.

theyre both crap , resistance is better than them and the other ps3 launch titles are easily comparable too them , none of them AAA

GOW was the first AAA title IMO , only one that made me think about rebuying a 360

then after that there wasn't exactly much till a few months ago unless your a hardcore gamer who just plays anything and everything

actually test drive was pretty good too

Well I can't think of any game that has muddy multiplayer madness like Motorstorm?

All im saying is time is needed to get the best out of the console, jees, the ps2 is doing some spectacular stuff even now, many years after it was launched, I shudder to think what the 360 and PS3 will have up its sleeves in a few years time once they get to grips with them.

Call of Duty 2 was AAA and it was a launch game and as posted above we didnt have to wait till the following winter, infact we got oblivion which was goty in many places only a few months after.
