looks like they are for sale already... the pre-order note has gone and you can now buy em !

HI there

Yep, as we know the stock is secure in our warehouse they are now available. All pre-orders will ship out tomorrow and anybody coming to buy one from our shop then come after 2pm as we still need to book the stock in to make it available for shop sales. :)

any idea if the price will be brought in line with the other Q6600s now that ample stock is in and you arnt sorting through trying to find the SLACR's?

Got a Q6600 "B" G0 currently running at 3200Mhz with 1.288v :) Also most of the "B"'s seem to have a lower VID mines 1.2375v which is supposed to mean better clocks at lower volts(Read this over at extreme)Idles at 35-36c & load 58c with all 4 cores prime loaded 100% for 6 hours.

Hi there

Basically no as these have actually cost us more to buy in, because of the declining dollar rate.

When we purchased our stock of the normal Q6600 the dollar rate was 2.03, wheras these newer SLACR stepping version have arrived today and the dollar rate is 1.98

So that means these have actuall cost us more to buy in and as such when we re-plenish our stock of the normal stepping our margin will decrease unless we increase the price on those too.

what cooling?

Gibbo, they cost 2.5 pence more to buy wholesale because the pound dropped 5 cents against the dollar ?

A 1000 units only cost 25 quid more at that rate and they are 10 quid dearer each ? Thats still £9975 profit, hardly breaking the ocuk bank are we ;)
