The R9 Nano Fiji Owners Thread

Thanks for the quick responses, I'm definitely thinking of going the watercooled route. Do you have the nano in a full loop ie. CPU and GPU? If so what size radiators are you running? I'm trying to decide whether I could get away with a 240/280mm and a 120/140mm radiator tfor the CPU and GPU? What do you think?

If you are asking me, wrote above Predator 360. Both GPU & CPU on single loop.

If you get the thick EK rads with their good fans and a good pump, a 240+120 will cut it easily.

Yes the 360 would be ideal but I don't reckon it would fit my case so looks like a custom job will have to do!

Well Ive had the powercolor nano for a few weeks now. I have tweaked the settings and got some interesting results!

On stock cooler;
-78 core voltage
power limit +21

the card runs 1000mhz (870 stock settings) flat out in GTA V and temps is 75C with fan at 55% (auto).

:)

Will tweak more later.

I just bought the TitanX one, my plans have changed slightly and I'm switching to TX's :D

I love my Titan X's as much as I do my Nano, so all I can say is welcome to the dark side :p

240 is fine if your willing to ramp up the fans. I use my nano paired with a 4690k @ 4.4 Ghz normally. In addition its a full cover motherboard block so the heat from the PCH and VRM's is also dumped into the loop (not massive, but still) A 280mm would only improve things.

What are these like for noise? From either fan or coil whine point of view. I'm thinking it might be a good stop gap card until we see what the next lot are like.

My powercolor has some wine when i first load a game then it goes away and with the tweak i use the fan is not audible at 940mhz and undervolted. But at 1050mhz it gets a bit loud (overclocked).

Mine doesn't wine but really has one of the most annoying fans in existence.

I love the price, the performance, the size, but the cooling is making me want to DSR the thing. I wouldn't mind but I came from a GTX970 and that thing was absolutely silent in all situations, so I would expect a card targeted at 175W max TDP to at least match it in heat and noise.

It gets absolutely nowhere near.

I'm planning on getting a waterblock for mine but can't decide if I want to do a full custom loop including cpu or just do the gpu. I've got an aio for my cpu at the moment so not sure...

Oh dear, I'm a bit of a silence freak :(

Before I switched to the 780 my rig was completely passively cooled from idle up to around 60c both CPU and GPU, and even the min fan of 35% on the 780 is not ideal for when browsing etc.

Same here, my all in one CPU system leaves me wondering the best setup. Don't know whether to break down my AIO and re use the rad or just get a whole new EK setup.

Crashed twice now running far cry primal, here was my settings:

Was gpu hitting 84 degree according to CAM so turned the clock down to 1010 just so it would give the card some relief. Any idea where to go?
