I take it you used DDU to uninstall the old drivers before updating, whilst disconnected from the internet to prevent windows trying to install drivers, and with your AV off?

I've honestly had very few problems with the drivers. That is until 2-3 days ago when windows updated and now when windows starts Wattman is showing junction temps of 230c ish and ramping fans up to 3000rpm, whilst saying fans are at zero and usually I have to restart to fix it.

Yes I've just doing a fresh install now to see if that helps just put chipset drivers on

The gigabyte auros come with the games aswell but something isn't right and I'm not going to mess about no more with it the old card back in and working

How long have you had the card? Your lucky August time I spent weeks and weeks troubleshooting the card had reference and now I have nitro special edition. Latest driver update seems to be most stable for me.

Was like that myself at start lol have you changed to gen 3 in bios?
Didn't know I had to do that I'm on latest bios on a gigabyte x570 elite and a 3700x with a 750 watt seasonic platinum power supply all brand new a couple of weeks ago and was working fine with old card new card would be ok for a bit then just crash my pc causing it to reboot I didn't daisy chain the power I used to separate leads
