Thanks.
(1) Apparently MPT did not respond to clicking "write SPPT" because there is NO GPU in the dropdown to select. I had loaded my saved 6900XT bios into MPT to look at it, and the power settings were stock, but when I mod the power settings to be higher and click "write SPPT" nothing happens. I watched a YouTube video and when they clicked "Write SPPT" they got an acknowledgement that it was successful, but their 6900XT showed up in the drop down to select before they made any changes and mine does not.
I have installed and uninstalled MPT 1.3.5 a few times, as an administrator, and run it as such too, but when I run MPT the dropdown menu to select my GPU is empty. So, the CPU never left stock.
(2) As for PBO, I reset my motherboard BIOS back to stock and then added back just the important stuff, plus enabled ReBar and PBO in auto mode. I went back to re-enter OC settings in AMD 21.6.2 software with a low GPU MHz of 2250 and max 2550, 1150mv, VRAM fast timing and at 2100, and power at +15. I've had my top results with these settings before.
My Timespy score is now 18315 (had a high of 18647 earlier in the day) with GPU at 19529 (700 points lower than the 20239 that I saw before upgrading to AMD 21.6.2 and SAM and enabling PBO), but CPU climbed to 13544 which is the highest it's been. My GPU clock hit peaks 2454MHz several times, and CPU hit 4815MHz again (4600-4815MHz). VRAM got as high as 2090MHz. However, average GPU cClock was 2341MHz and average memory was 2044MHz, and I've seen these averages previously hit 2400 and 2090+ respectively.
My son with a 5950X and Crosshair VIII Formula motherboard, and RTX3090 was getting GPU score around 20,900 and CPU score around 13,900 today. I'm wondering if I should exhange my ASRock Taichi Razer for the more expensive ASUS board like his. We have the same RAM and CPU AIO, and same Boot SSD and case and fans. I have a Seesonic PX850 Titanium and he has the same model PSU in the 1000W version.
