The Radeon RX 6900/6950 XT Owners Thread.

@LtMatt did you teardown the Merc at any point? I was going to do it just now but it seems the backplate doesnt come off by removing the standard backplate screws and I cant find a video or place that shows what else needs to be removed.

On a normal GPU you take some screws off the backplate, it comes off, and then a few more for the PCB. This seems to be different.

Edit: I think I understood how its assembled after inspecting the card a bit.

I tore down the first Merc I had, but it was difficult (there are so many little screws) and I saw worse results after reattaching so I decided not to bother with my second one. Good luck!

The only way I know is to manually add it (the game executable or launcher file) yourself, or to do an autodetect. If neither method works for adding ESO you may want to submit a bug report via the built in tool.
