The Radeon RX 6900/6950 XT Owners Thread.

Yep, shame that we have to use this trick to get proper GPU utilization. I will give this bench a run on the weekend to see what score i can get.
Ok cool. That's the limit for me using 293w. The temps are very good now with the block on. Had a couple of hours on Youngblood last night. Edge high 30's (40C max) Junction is low 50's max, 46-49c most of the time under full load.

Yeah it's decent score for the power limit, bare in mind though that Firestrike does not draw much load compared to Timespy, so a lower power limit will hold you back more there.

As you are under water are you planning to go higher on the power limit? Or are you playing it sensible and safe and treating your GPU like a much loved child? I don't blame you given the current climate, these are valuable items. :D

I like to run a leaned out setting, most performance for the least power ideally. Like I did with my VII (950mv for stock clocks). The Firestrike numbers where still going up as the voltage went down. Port Royal needs 1030mv and Timespy 1050mv to get the best numbers out of 293w.
I was running Youngblood at 1050mv 2500/2650 last night without issue. Had a play with 0 and +15% power and with and without adaptive vsync to 120fps on the OLED. All silky smooth, and locking at 120 makes sense as its just a waste of power after that.

Lovely, sounds like you have a decent sample. I think the 6900 XT is probably the best AMD GPU I have ever used. Can't ever recall having such a powerful GPU tbh.

You can't knock the quality of the MBA cooler. It's like a piece of quality audio equipment, nice and weighty!

And, it truly is silent. I can't remember exactly, but i am pretty sure it was complete silence up to around 55-60% fan speed which was enough to keep temps below throttling with an overclock of 100-150Mhz on the core.

Even 100% isn't awful. It's not a nasty noise. My system as a constant level now with the block on as my Noctua fans are all on the Low-noise adapters, so its more of a air through radiator level.

I just got a 11027 PR score with 1080mv set in MPT and 325W max and 2650mhz max in WattMan. This is with a 6900xt Merc. I could get higher but temps and watts get too high for my taste.
