If only i was feeling frivolous.Port royal is £1.99 in the steam sale and the full thing Inc time spy extreme is £3.5 or something
DX12 app, so that makes sense for Timespy.https://www.3dmark.com/pr/721416
there is a port royal score on my ref card anyway. I've just been testing and only time spy works with 6900XT CF, for some reason when you enable CF port royal decides 6900XT doesnt support ray tracing any more.
Can a Nvidia card and 6900 XT run together in same system?Mostly for 3dmark fun.
If you have room for them, windows 10 is meant to play better with different cards installed at the same time.
Can you share your settings? Just 5 points of difference between yours and mine https://www.3dmark.com/pr/724618.https://www.3dmark.com/pr/721416

What score do you get?
max boost clock was at 2720mhz memory was at 2150 with fast timings. power limit +15%. more power tool my power limit was set to 350W i think. Can you share your settings? Just 5 points of difference between yours and mine https://www.3dmark.com/pr/724618.
Almost the same as mine. What are the voltage settings and do they stick or the card does whatever it wants and voltages go to 1175mv during loads. Surprised that rest of your superior hardware is not giving you more of an edge here.max boost clock was at 2720mhz memory was at 2150 with fast timings. power limit +15%. more power tool my power limit was set to 350W i think.
Use MPT to lock voltage in place it can help in instances where you don’t want that high a voltage.Almost the same as mine. The voltage seems to just do whatever it feels like but lowering it did help with the stock power limit.Almost the same as mine. Port royal is purely a gpu test so unlike time spy and firestrike the cpu and system ram doesn't really make a difference to the score.
there is no physics or combined test to affect the over score like time spy and firestrike.Port Royal is not a pure gpu test. The rayvtracing feature test is just the gpu
Just did some BCLK overclock and it seemed to have made no difference. So you might be right on this. The voltage seems to just do whatever it feels like but lowering it did help with the stock power limit.

Hmm interesting, so the more power you want to save the more conservative you need to be with the voltages, which is a little bit obvious but still good info.Unless there has been software updates you will need a volt meter to read the voltages accurately. That was one of the root causes of the handbags at dawn episode with Debauer and Igor.
The short story is that the reference card 6800/6900 GPU voltage readings go up way beyond what the software is reporting it is.
