The Radeon RX 6900/6950 XT Owners Thread.

That's cheap, what version is it? I just paid £1450 for the standard Red Devil, my thinking was that it should have been between £1000-£1200 but things are messed up. I wanted a 6800XT but I have never seen them in stock anywhere.
6900 XT Merc 319. It was bought before prices went mental tbf.

I would pay a bit more for the XTXH version of the 6900 XT If i was doing it all again as it is definitely faster than the regular 6900 XT due to the higher voltage and power limits available.

I saw people talking about undervolting at 2500mhz to around 1075v but if you ran the core at stock boost (2285mhz) what would be a reasonable undervolt?

I really wouldn't go below 2300Mhz min frequency and 2400Mhz max frequency. You will get such a big undervolt running these clocks that you can encounter stability issues if you go too much lower.

Just got myself a new high score in time spy

No can't say I have. Have you managed to find any other pics of the same XTXH model PCB?

It does look like glue or something.

Is it working okay? If so I'd not worry about it.

The closest I can find is the following.

Doesn't appear to be any adhesive around any the the chips.

It has been running fine, will just see how I get on.

Just thought it was unusual.

I've seen some boards have silicone on various components to combat coil whine (not just coils but caps and fets as well) but not on mem chips and it's odd it's just on the three.

Recently got a PowerColor rx 6900 xt red devil Ultimate (XTXH). Pretty pleased with it and more importantly the OC I got out of it!

Max stable OC for games of ~2750, 2690 being stable for time spy benches. Running at 1160mv core and 2150 memory. Seeing sustained speeds over 2600 at all times which is nice.

Here is a pic, its a bit messy but it works:
Had to use some old 8pin pcie extensions as the rm1000 cables are so stiff i could not get the side on:(

Welcome and on TROH.:)

To get on the Roll of Honour all you have to do is post a pic with your user name on it of your Radeon RX 6900 XT.

Ive neve overclocked an amd gpu before, im getting what looks like pretty decent results, im wondering if people have been using the more power tool to squeeze more out of their cards. My temps have been really good with hot spot hovering around 87-89oc. Im crashing at 2802 max mhz, so around 2754mhz actual, when using krombuster, i know i need to drop down from this to be stable in benchmarks and games, but if i had a bit more power, i reckon i could keep it stable and maybe push it a bit higher. What's evryones thoughts
