The Radeon RX 7900 XT(X) Owners Thread.

Not really 7900XtX related, but I gave my desk a clean down and dust eairler, fitted my new decimflex kit filters to every orifice on my case and curve optimized my 5900X, oh, and I drunk some Cider.

Now that is a nice setup!
Debating going Vertical but I will lose on my soundblaster card if I do that ;(

At first I was amazed and thought "wow thats great". It is indeed a great set up but then I noticed the fans and I vomitted into my mouth. If you are going to go for the noctua look then own it dude , you cannot mix and match noctua and Corsair, thats a crime that even cider cannot save you from.

Lol..
You would not believe the amount of **** I get over the noctua mix and match.

is there any way an unstable CPU could impact the stability of a GPU OC/UV or it's stability in general? just found out my 5900x had overly aggressive CO values, so i'm wondering whether fixing this up would have any carryover to GPU stability, considering i remember there was that whole thing with 5000 series stability being screwed by unstable RAM

Hi!

So i got my replaced 7900xtx MBA (previous one had vapor chamber problem).

After a week of playing, OC/UV, playing i got so far this:

1065mv | CORE: 3200mhz (max) | VRAM: 2750mhz (FTimmings)| PL +15% | Drivers 23.2.2

A few benches:

Speedway: https://www.3dmark.com/sw/378528
TimeSpy: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/36164552
FireStrike Ultra: https://www.3dmark.com/fs/29613083

I think its possible to get lower UV and higher OC in the VRAM.

Its playable in WZ2 without any crashes or restarts.

Not bad i guess for a MBA.

Nice results but think TopG Matt @LtMatt has cracked 35k on TS with his Nitro...

i got the 7900 XTX MBA because it was the best perf/price for 4K cards. bought on AMD website for 1135€ while 4080 was sold for 1400€. if the 7900 XT pricing was not as bad i would have took it over the 7900 XTX.
I don't think than custom AMD cards are worth the extra money and power consumption.
you have to keep in mind that most of the benchmarks are very bad to stress the cards in real game situations, i can run benchmarks like Firestrike and TimeSpy at 1070mV repeatedly without crashing while most games are only stable at 1080mV, some very demanding games are only stable at 1100mV and Horizon Zero Dawn is only stable at 1110mV on my card for instance. My VRAM is stable at 2730Mhz fast timing on every game. no stability difference on VRAM. Also increasing the PL by +15% on my card only increase FPS by 6% on average even when undervolted.
