Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

The Radeon RX 7900 XT(X) Owners Thread.

I think someone got it on overclock.net recently so may want to check the XTX owners thread there.
Will have a look, tho I found a few customer reviews on an American seller(who I’d not heard of before but they seem to not be popular with Steve from gamersnexus) site that mention a few of the screws on the back weren’t fully tightened with memory junction temp hitting 100+c which was reduced by tightening those screws. The one who originally mentioned the screws also said the gpu temp hit 104c at times, might be giving it a miss then unless it’s been sorted.

so it's pretty much confirmed that UV settings that were stable prior to 23.3.1 are no longer stable? did something change, like the frequency/voltage curve, or what's the deal?
Nothing changed, most likely your previous settings weren’t stable. Running the exact same settings here as I was a few months ago without issue.

actually one thing did change - i disabled MPO, which seems to have increased average effective clock speed by 50mhz - that's where the instability came from and required 30mV more to keep stable
re-enabling MPO allowed me to go back to my previous voltage settings

I've never made any sort of modifications like that, so probably explains why I don't see the same behaviour.

Hows is everyone dealing with the Coil whine? I recently got an Asus TUF 7900 XTX OC, and the coil whine is horribly I didn't expect this to happen this badly on the GPU.

I have even tried upgrading the PSU to 1000w Corsair shift, but still the same, just to rule out. I am starting to wonder if my Motherboard is at fault as I also had loud coil whine on my previous GPU 1080ti which I just swapped out.

Should Furmark also initiate coil whine as when I run furmark I get zero coil whine?
