The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

Posted in driver thread but post here too:

Twice after starting my PC I've had to reapply the overclock on my 9070. Has anyone experienced similar?

If your overclock is stable you can apply it to separate game profiles. In the overclocking tab you have an option for “Add Game Profile” at the top right of the performance/tuning tab. Load (import) your saved profile and the click that add game option.

You can verify what profile is being applied by going to the Gaming tab, selecting your chosen games and hitting the “Tune Game Performance” option.

This way your OC profile will apply even if it has not loaded on startup. AMD have this set as a safety override I think.

Installed my Sapphire Pulse 9070xt today. Not had chance to bench it yet or tweak settings as having issues with Adrenaline software.

Its a big old beast!

Anyone here who plays Spiderman 1 or 2, How's FSR4 in it ? They are 2 of my most fave single player games but with FSR3.1 the shimmering and pixel crawling is still prevalent.

Ok thanks, I'll give this a go and see what happens.

Zip tie a fan to that badboy and crank more on that power limit.

Does anyone know why after installing my new 9070 XT and plugging the HDMI cable into it, that I am not getting any display out. This is in my new pc I have been putting together and had been using the integrated graphics in the 9900x up to now. In the BIOS the Display Priority is set to External Graphic

Make sure you disabled integrated GPU in bios disabled mine was same. But was fine after I did that.
Strangely never had that issue with Nvidia, also if you don't disabled that internal GPU record/streaming won't show up in adrenaline.

Over the moon with my XT. Been addicted to Satisfactory and it's given me about a 40-50fps increase. Now to ponder a CPU upgrade for more frames.

One of my most psychopathic builds was a tri-fire setup with a 295x2 and a single 290x. I recall it even tripping my bohemith Ethermax 1500w PSU from time to time. All in a custom oak case that looked like an antique radio (that is now part of the decor of a bar in Brooklyn).

It was way more fun back in the day. mGPU, eyefinity, unlocking shaders to make your mid-range GPU high range...

If mGPU was still a thing, I definitely ha e dual 9070 xts now.
Oh man that gets me exicted... please tell me there are images ?

The problem is there seems to be a bug in Adrenalin (and Gigabyte CC) that coreclock increase does not do anything, I can only undervolt (increases power budget) to increase boost speed. I don't see an option of memory voltage.

Also, on a side note, I have to reapply the GPU overclock settings every PC restart, am I missing something? Sorry not overclocked GPUs in a while.

I remember MSI Afterburner having an option to reapply OC on startup, but want minimal bloatware on my PC, (already have Gigabyte CC and AMD Adrenalin)

Unless things have changed, you can't use Adrenaline and an OC tool in combination, Adrenaline will reset on startup.

Also for anyone coming from Nv/don't have experience with Adrenaline(customising settings), when you work out your best settings-it's best applying UV/OC's per game profile as any OS errors will reset Adrenaline to defaults on startup, if you save your settings to game profiles, they don't get reset.

I will give that a go. Presumably if that doesn't work, I can just clear the BIOS and it will re-enable the integrated graphics?

Well I just installed my Reaper, and it looks like it's dead. No display whatsoever, no POST or BIOS screen, nothing. I DDU'd before installing as well. Fans are spinning up, PC is booting because there are no error codes, 8-pins are all fine. Just stuck the 3080 back in and everything is hunky dory.

I've raised a ticket with OCUK. The card felt like the cheapest nastiest GPU I've ever had, so I'm not too upset about it going back, but I got it at MSRP so we'll see what OCUK say.

Surprising that my reaper is wicked, I did the ddu but got no display, found out I needed to disable igp. The took a minute or 2 before coming on. But tbh the reaper is decent, it's only 2 slot and tbh I'm chucking everything at it, may look plasticy but it's the silicone inside that's more important tbh

My Pulse feels cheap in hand as well with all the plastic but tbh the only time I'll ever touch it again is when I upgrade.

Hold yer God damn Horses

Aren't the timespy benchmarks now skewed between Nvidia and AMD ?

From looking at all your results the Physics marks are almost twice as high as those on a 50 series card

I'm claiming unfair sportsmanship because the leather jacket man disabled our Physics and ROPs

BUT on a serious note - compare the physics scores for yourself
