The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

Just curious if anyone with the 9070 (not xt) came from a 3060ti and can comment on the witcher at 1440 vs 4k? I still play this a lot as a game to 'chill' to and 4k (max) is not quite there on the 3060ti. Looking at a power + price efficient card to upgrade to.

Over the moon with my XT. Been addicted to Satisfactory and it's given me about a 40-50fps increase. Now to ponder a CPU upgrade for more frames.
Full load temps on mine have never gone over 46 as well which is awesome my old Nitro+ 6700xt used to sit about 65

Arrived this morning, wasn't expecting it til Monday. Happy days! Too busy today to mess around with it so will have to wait for tomorrow (I have already eaten the Haribo).

Installed it over the weekend and I'm seriously impressed. It's so quiet even under load and has seen a good boost with a -100mV undervolt.

No point me tinkering with it much more than that yet because I'm still gaming at 1080p. Saving for a new monitor now, the moths are coming out of the wallet after a brand new rig from the ground up :(

The day will come at some point, but I'm still yet to be let down by Sapphire.

Hi guys lot of people who who own one, am I allowed to ask here how you guys actually got one? Did you ghet lucky or use a bot?

When I got my rtx3080 I used some kind of link that went on my discord to let me know via a notification when something came in stock, and I'm now getting fed up of checking multiple times per day for nothing - could anyone give some advice or share a discord link at all?

Yes I hear you say "just wait" but 10gb really sucks for 4k, as does 1440p when you're a few feet away from a 55" oled :D
had whisper email more msrp ones were going up

I upgraded from an RTX3060TI. I could install the game when I have some time and check what performance I am getting at 1440p.

I received my msrp sapphire pulse XT on 07/03, haribo included and consumed immediately.

Unfortunately it's just been sat in the box after opening to check there was actually a gpu in there, as I'm waiting for the rest of the parts for my new build to arrive. Current pc is full custom water so can't just pop it in...

Looking forward to Thursday when the last bits arrive and I can get it built!

Upgrading from 4790k + 980ti to 9800x3d + 9070xt so should be quite the improvement lol.

Oh man that gets me exicted... please tell me there are images ?

Build log for the case is detailed here (so old most of the image hosting sites are deco'd):

I have a few other pics with it up and running (with dual water-cooled 480s at the time, if I recall) on a secondary drive I'll dig up. The guy who built the case is an artist. This was one of his earlier custom cases, the ones he did later should be in a museum.

Anyone have a 9070 (not XT) Nitro+? I'm after the bios file, want to flash my PowerColor see if i can get the power limit up.

Edit - or any card with a 245w base power draw (rather than the normal 220)

Got the TUF OC bios 240w, as far as I'm aware no software can write the BIOS to the card yet though.
