The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

How do you think the support bracket feels? Mine seemed a bit wonky, might try and reseat it tomorrow?

The support bracket is not the best but should do the job. Make sure you get all the screws in tight and push the adjuster bit firmly up against the card and tighten it properly.

My motherboard has a GPU holder on the right side (PG Riptide 650E) also I've got a gpu holder that looks like headphone stand. Plus I could use the sapphire one so it shouldn't shift at all.

If it touches the soundcard I'll have to move the soundcard to bottom slot and remove the nvme from the pci-e adapter to onboard. Shame I will lose the additional nvme port..

I just use one of these lol

What are these two distances? I have a 12cm side fan just wondering if there clearence.

case backplate to left edge of PCI-E connector
Motherboard PCB to GPU edge and motherboard PCB to cables a safe touching point (so you don't have to force down cables at sharp angle down)

No idea honestly, I don't have a tape measure handy lol.

The case is the Kolink HF Mesh Observatory if that helps you. The Pulse 9070 is 280mm long.

My rear exhaust fan is 120mm.

EDIT:-

Looks to be ~16cm from bracket to PCIe cable and according to Sapphire's website the width of the card is 12cm.

Hope this helps.

Forgot to add, I'd been NV for years and hadn't experienced a modern AMD product and I really love the AMD software, much more than NV.

I am hoping now this is a new beginning for me, with AMD products going forwards as I am no longer interested in the high end space from NV, now firmly seated in the mid end.

So what's the deal with pricing on these now? Did AMD bump the prices up after launch? I haven't kept track of 9070 pricing as I decided to spend my money on a travel trailer instead LMAO.

AMD didn't bump the price up, Retailers did as usual sadly. Some have massively marked them up.

OCUK's prices seem to be decent though, Just a matter of stock.
