The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

Simply WOW !

Not seeing any haribo boys and girls ?!:eek:
Didn't you guys get any ?
Yeh 2 packs of Harribo.
so this was my 3080ti benchmark from this morning with the 9070XT at stock just.
25% gains and runs a hell of a lot cooler. 3080TI was hitting 80+C all the time

My Sapphire Nitro 9070 arrived about 10-20 minutes ago, so now I need to install it. Buuuut it turns out I only have 2 pci-e power cables included with my psu (one of which splits into 2 outlets, so I technically have the 3 outlets needed to connect to the adaptor), so I'm gonna have to try installing it and seeing if everything works. If not, I know what my next purchase will be

Edit: I got haribo in mine :)

Be fine using 1 that splits into 2 long as your also using another "full" one

I've gone from Hellhound to Hellhound with the RX 9070 XT replacing a RX 6600!

I chucked it in to run off an EVGA Supernova 550W G3 PSU and it seems fine. My setup has pulled a max of 426W from the wall when running the benchmark in Cyberpunk 2077 at 4k with everything on high except Path Tracing.

Idle power consumption seems high at ~115W from the wall.

Reckon it is sensible to throw in the Corsair RM850x I ordered alongside the Hellhound?

I think it’s worth putting the bigger power supply on. Just in case of transient power spikes.

Yeah reckon it might be an idea I figure transients might get yah especially if cpu and gpu high load
