The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

Check that's not the average clock. 3D mark always reports lower clocks
Ah it looks like it was the one benchmark I was using (steel nomad), but when using time spy it shows a max clock as 3212 on the gigabyte tool and on the 3DMark monitoring. Feel better now!

I must say I do get a bit of coil whine on my Gigabyte.

Having the proper individual cables rather than using a pigtailed one certainly improved stability at the high end.

No, I don't. I assume it is the standard 340W, and there is +10% available via software. HWinfo reads 363w with +10% if that is anything to go by.
363W is 330W + 10%
I'm sure I saw 363 around somewhere before release and can't find it anywhere now.
Is 340W standard? I thought some cards were rated just above 300W.

I have a 9070xt hellhound, and I cannot, seem to get a stable overclock at all. I'm pretty sure it is on the OC BIOS (Switch to the left). How many negative MV and power offset should I start with?

I've seen a few varying posts in this thread but what's everyone been scoring on the TimeSpy benchmark for the 9070XT at stock values? I was trying to establish a decent baseline before starting to fiddle with varying settings.

Mines an OC model but it was 30,000 pre

Hi, Im currenty wanting a new GPU. would this RX 9070 XT be ok at 3440x1440 for me? at the moment im using DLSS to boost my frames in games. so im wondering will this card hit average 100fps? i play all the new games. but i don't want to be dissapointed if the FPS drops below 60fps.

On my Steel Legend with a 7950X3D my base score was 24833

I then turned on the auto overclock and my score was 24,770! After some manually tweaking got it up to 25,181 but this wasn't stable as running Speed Way crashed. Worryingly at stock values now getting 24,327. My results do seem to be all over the place though with overclocking not making that much difference at all

Got same resolution having 50fps with optiscale performance mode full pt and everything on CP77 Note that I have 10600 (non-K) which might create some bottleneck.

Really interesting, thank you. I'm also running a Steel Legend and base for me is 27,640 (http://www.3dmark.com/spy/54026775) - so going to start tinkering from here.

Okay cool, i'll try that next. What are your hotspot temps like? I've noted the 9070xt seems to have a bigger variance to core temps/hotspot than older cards.
This does seem to be the case from my card and what I've seen other people report - mine goes up to 20 degrees variance (though is usually more like 15) at load, I've seen someone report 30 on reddit though.
