However as it was on top of a 100000k fine, the maximum they could award it wouldn't have been that lenient. If it's lenient then it shouldn't be an option for bringing the game into disrepute.

Yes it would.

You dont not pay millions of pounds in tax and get a 100k punishment, thats ridiculous!

How many times has it been pointed out to you, the other clubs you refer to were not banned from the cup. They played in a cup tie with ineligible players and in doing so had the scoreline in previous tie overturned eliminating them from the cup.

1 is a ban, the other is being knocked out of the cup after the fact. They are not the same punishment.

They are the same punishment.

They are the same punishment.

No they are not. they were in the competition used an illegal player and the score was reversed and they were eliminated. A cup ban means we can't even enter the competition. I'm not sure if you are fishing or really are that blinkered by hatred.

Dundee utd were paid from money we were due to receive.
Really? I would be very surprised if that was legal, especially given that the Football Creditors Rule isn't law in Scotland.

Edit: I know Hearts have outstanding fees from Rangers - why didn't they receive any payment given that Rangers received their payment for finishing 2nd?

Something is confusing me about this arrangement at present.

If the administrators want to go down the newco route can they transfer the assets without the approval of the creditors?

Hearts are not due any further monies from Rangers until July 1st.

The football creditors rule does not come into it.

Yeah I know, I've already said the FCR doesn't come into it. It would be in breach of Insolvency Law. It's not the SFAs place to protect some creditors at the expense of others.

I think the Utd late fee was after the administrators took over and therefore was in the regular running costs of the club which they paid.

The SFA will deduct any monies owing from Scottish football clubs and distribute it if there is enough to go around. Its the foreign clubs that are going to be hung out to dry.

I simply cant believe any right minded Rangers fan thinks a scottish cup ban for one year is an adequate punishment given the fraud that has been committed, had Sandaza agreed to come to Rangers, they bought him knowing full well they couldnt afford to pay for him.

If you have any evidence you should contact Strathclyde police.
