The real Mo Farah (or not...)

It’s peak Tory Britain that a guy can grow up here, win Olympic medals and be knighted for it and still be worried about losing his citizenship because he was trafficked here as a child against his will.
Some people are absolutely obsesed with everything being the Tory's fault. In Mo's case it would have been extremely unlikely that he could be deported anyway because he married a British national. So regardless of previous history he is now British and could only be deported under very exceptional circumstances such as the marriage being a sham. But the Home Office have already said they will be taking no action.

The guy is indeed a legend.

Peak Tory Britain by taking a tabloids conjecture despite the Home Office already saying no action?

I'm not sure it was his choice was it? He was trafficked as a nine year old. I think it's great that he's done so well considering the start he's had.

Nothing to do with choice, its still faked documents, and he has known this for a long time. I do think its great he has done well though.

He’s so unlikable. He’s doesn’t even live here anymore.
exactly .. he abused the airport staff - no .. (small beer versus Coe)
good bbc advertising for their programme .. and, presumably, a commentator at Commonwealth games, maybe he'll object under principle

Its the best time to come out with it, lets see how strong the Rwanda policy is, and lets see if these wannabe PMs still believe in "One rule for them and one rule for us" policy
Is Mo one of "them", or one of "us"?

Given he came over to escape war in abject poverty?

Haven't they delayed the Rwanda court case (maybe bbc hadn't anticipated that) ... the court result and opinions the candidates might have to express would be divisive
