And BTW - What's the best way to ensure your planet will not be raided? ;)

I assume a few missile silo's will take care of it? Or is a fleet of ships around your planet better?

Not that I'll be building ships for some time, just for future reference. ;)
(May be able to build missile silo's by the weekend)
 
oooo 1 minute till me shipyard is ready :) If i have some spare resources ill ship some out to anyone who needs them in TNG.

edit: missile launcher up in 20 mins :p

I've just started this game, joined the alliance, brings back memories of playing Planetarion way too much :p

currently got:
metal level 3
crystal level 1
solar level 2

next upgrade will be solar to level 3 and then either metal or crystal, running very low on metal, but i'll need crystal eventually :p

keep your solar as high lvl as possible, your mines cant work to potential if they dont have enough power to work, hence it would be pointless to upgrade them;)

Start -> Run -> Calc
Most efficient use of solar.

Upgrade the solar before the other buildings, but for example, my Metal fab is running at 90%, so that I can upgrade the crystal fab before upgrading the solar again.

Resources, resources, resources. :D
 
The game seems quite slow in the beginning, signed up last night, now it takes ages before I'll have enough to advance much on the metal mine or solar plant. THEN I might finally be able to play with some of the other buildings!

Crystal Mine (level 2)
Deuterium Synthesizer (level 2)
Solar Plant (level 5)
