if you are low on power you can change the outout from each resource so you always have power :)

If you are running over your power supplement, all your work will not run at 100%. So you can tell a resource, like mines, to only run at 80%, so power is freed up to other depts.

I might be completely wrong as this is just from my own supposition...but...

I think it's to do with managing your energy supplies. If I've built more structures than with which my power plants can cope, I use that screen to set a few at a lower percentage to bring myself back into the green. This presumably reduces their output.

My solar plants were working on 0% for some reason. I always want them on 1000% don't I?

Hi all,

Signed up last night for the game, and thought i'd posted my details here. Hate long sunny days, you tend to forget things. It's extremely addictive :) My username is DarkendViper and home planet Darkend. Original I know.

So far I'm just trying to get resource gathering in some sort of order. I've currently got :

Lvl 3 Metal Mine
Lvl 2 Crystal Mine
Lvl 3 Deterium Synthesizer
Lvl 5 Solar Plant
Lvl 1 Robotic Factory
Lvl 1 Research Lab

Can anyone recommend anything that I need to build as well. Currently I've got 964 Metal, 89 Crystal and 53 Detererium.

ive actually got 2 accounts also, the first one i built up metal mines only...once i get my ships, im gonna raid it lol
 
well been at work and unable to upgrade but im away again now :p loads of stuff to play with, update on where i am at

crystal lvl 7
deutrium lvl 5
solar planet lvl 10
robotic lvl2
shipyard lvl 2
research lab lvl 1

So is the TNG guy one of us OcUK'ers here, are we all joining in on this TNG thingy?

Im with you Pavey_Ditch, i dont have a clue what im really doing, i just keep levelling up my metal, crystal, deut and solar...

ive found two tng alliances,

[TnG] The New Generation 3
[TNGH] The Next Generation Heroes 1

Once you have your metal, crystal, deut and solar up then look into being able to raid other planets. It can get you resources very quick then. You will need to get lvl 2 Robotic Factory, Research Lab lvl 1, then research Energy Tech lvl 1. I think you then need to get combustion engine level up to 2 and build a shipyard lvl 2. Then you will be able to build a small cargo ship to raid with. Also you can then build light fighters for support.
